Senior Full Stack Engineer (Realtime & Voice) Customer Experience Platform

📋 Description

• HTS Assist is Hopper's agentic AI assistant for travel, handling flight changes, cancellations
• Own realtime and voice layer end to end across React/TypeScript front ends, Scala and Python
• Collaborate on telephony/CPaaS integrations (Twilio, Amazon Connect) and streaming STT/TTS
• Design multi-tenant scale with one codebase for many partners via configuration, not forks.
• Build safety/compliance plumbing: guardrails, content filtering, PII redaction points.
• Maintain revenue-critical deployments with observability, incident response, and SLA adherence.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering with senior ownership of production systems.
• Hands-on realtime systems experience (voice apps, WebRTC/SIP, streaming).
• Strong frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Scala or JVM language, Python); cloud (GCP or AWS).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, or event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and responsible shipping practices.
• Operable-systems mindset: SLAs, observability, on-call rotations, rollbacks.
