Staff Infrastructure Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the cloud platform: cluster architecture, networking, IAM, cost, IaC standards, CI/CD
• Set deploy contracts and standards that 35+ engineers follow; decide infrastructure direction for
• Enablement: build infrastructure to support coding agents and AI workloads; collaborate directly

🎯 Requirements

• Production Kubernetes ownership: 3+ years as escalation point for a cluster you owned.
• Experience inheriting infrastructure and executing improvements without disrupting the business.
• Small team experience (5 or fewer) with real consequences.
• Software that engineers rely on: CI/CD, IaC tooling; ability to build internal tools.
• Terraform or OpenTofu depth: module design, state management, drift handling.
• Stateful production systems: Postgres, including upgrades and failover.
