Regulatory Investigations Counsel

📋 Description

• Manage regulatory investigations and inquiries from initial contact through resolution, including
• Manage Congressional investigations or inquiries
• Manage and collaborate with outside counsel across all stages of an investigation, keeping matters
• Work cross-functionally with technical, product, policy, and business teams to collect information
• Represent Anthropic in interactions with regulators and enforcement staff, and support public
• Develop internal processes, playbooks, and tools that make regulatory response scalable and

🎯 Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Substantial experience managing government or regulatory investigations
• Experience working with technology companies and/or technical clients
• Strong communication, legal writing and analytical skills
• Experience managing outside counsel and coordinating large information requests
• Sound judgment on risk tradeoffs and ability to move work forward with incomplete information
