Software Engineer, Backend - Data Layer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for process data across relational DBs and
• Own engineering initiatives end to end from design to delivery.
• Improve how data is stored, retained, exposed, and streamed for customer use.
• Boost performance and scalability of secondary storage with observability tooling.
• Troubleshoot data-layer production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, SRE, QA, and other teams in a remote-first environment.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of backend software engineering experience.
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch.
• Understanding of query performance, indexing, data modeling, and execution plans.
• Experience contributing to complex engineering initiatives and reliable delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote work.
• Willingness to learn product context to develop customer-focused solutions.
