VoIP Engineer - Remote

📋 Description

• Understand how Telephony services integrate with the platform.
• Operate, maintain, expand and support SIP proxies (Kamailio/OpenSIPS).
• Handle level 3 escalations and triage.
• Analyze telephony traffic patterns for issues.
• Respond to critical alerts to restore service.
• Troubleshoot voice and network protocol issues.

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in CS/IT/Telecommunications or similar.
• Strong IP telephony, TCP/IP, SIP/RTP/RTCP/etc knowledge.
• Experience with Kamailio/OpenSIPS/FreeSWITCH/RTPEngine/Asterisk.
• Experience with Linux, Open Source tools, shell scripting.
• Experience with Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Python, Elixir or Go is a plus.
