Quality Inspector II, Production Floor, First Shift

📋 Description

• Conduct in-process and final inspections on propulsion components, large structures, and mechanical
• Perform dimensional inspections on flight hardware using precision hand tools
• Review hardware requirements and document pass/fail outcomes and non-conformances
• Capture closeout photos of large assemblies after final walkdowns
• Use borescopes for FOD inspections on machined parts or assembly cavities

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Expert proficiency with precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges)
• Ability to collaborate with design engineering, manufacturing, and production teams
• Strong inspection discipline meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Clear communicator interfacing with inspectors, engineers, production personnel, and stakeholders
• Hands-on MRB experience: identifying, documenting, and dispositioning non-conforming hardware
