- Edit and fact-check content, maintaining editorial standards.
- Develop headlines and reader-facing storytelling angles.
🎯 Requirements
- Interest in accurate, neutral U.S. politics and public policy.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. political system; federal/state coverage is a plus.
- Excellent research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills for general audiences.
- Ability to synthesize information from multiple policy areas and identify trends.
- Judgment for evaluating news, with focus on accuracy during fast-changing events.
- Ability to analyze legislation, court decisions, and scholarly work.
