• Senior production engineer embedded long-term in high-risk areas to shape production reliability
• Define engagement models with product and infrastructure teams
• Own technically complex areas (sharding, multi-region, JVM performance) to improve reliability and
• Set the technical bar and influence future hiring standards
• Pair staffing decisions and grow production engineering capability org-wide
• Align with product roadmap to drive production readiness and reduce incidents

🎯 Requirements

• Production at scale: ownership of reliability in large-scale distributed systems
• JVM or systems depth with production experience
• Distributed systems: sharding, replication, failure modes, consistency tradeoffs
• Linux internals and low-level performance reasoning
• Observability tooling, tracing, dashboards, and alerting
• Containerisation and orchestration: Kubernetes in production
