Job Description
📋 Description
- Monitor and maintain SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Ensure availability, performance, reliability, and security.
- Tune performance, optimize queries, indexes, stored procedures, and related objects.
- Troubleshoot database incidents and assist application teams with DB issues.
- Manage users, roles, permissions, and access requests; enforce security standards.
- Investigate blocking, long-running queries, and locking concerns.
🎯 Requirements
- B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of hands-on database administration experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, queries, procedures, views, triggers, and indexing.
- Database security, monitoring, and troubleshooting expertise.
- Familiarity with Azure database environments and Java programming.
