📋 Description

• This position is responsible for preparing standard samples for basic mechanical and metallurgical
• Maintain registration as a machinist apprentice and attend education classes.
• Study specs/drawings to determine machining operation.
• Set-up and operate lathes, mills, surface grinders, saws to meet specs.
• Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy and calculate dimensions/tolerances.
• Follow test sample prep guidelines and maintain traceability.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: in process or completed period 1-4 of machinist apprenticeship or Machining Diploma
• Skills: math and mechanical aptitude; precision work; hand and power tools; measure sizes
• Lift up to 25 kg; work independently with concentration; basic computer knowledge.
• Strong organizational/communication skills; ability to read and follow instructions; proficient
• Team fit: manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; strong verbal/written
