Data Center Operations Tier 1 Technician

📋 Description

• Diagnose and troubleshoot data center equipment with Lightedge team.
• Install servers and network gear into racks with cabling.
• Facilitate new client service installations with project managers.
• Receive and document incoming shipments.
• Respond to alarm events affecting infrastructure.
• Follow Change Control processes and review MOPs.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of two-year technical degree or 1-4 years experience in technical env.
• Network cabling termination experience - Ethernet, CAT6, Fiber.
• Experience with day-to-day data center maintenance.
• Familiarity with telco central office equipment/transport.
• Robust computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of electricity and electrical literature.
