Senior Software Engineer, Core Experience

📋 Description

• Design, build, and implement software to optimize and scale Instacart platform
• Develop highly scalable software with rapid upgrade/deploy cycles
• Enable data-driven features that adapt to shopper behavior
• Work across UI and backend to support web and mobile
• Perform testing, analysis, and troubleshooting of systems
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects and reuse components

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field
• 5 years of experience in Java, Ruby, Python, or similar
• 5 years with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL or similar data systems
• 5 years with API query tech such as GraphQL
• 2 years of ML model development and iteration
• 2 years in client/server architectures
