Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Use AI-assisted development tools to design, develop, test, document, and deploy Messaging Security
• Contribute across the full software stack with strong test coverage and automation, meeting
• Participate in planning, design reviews, and security reviews to ensure compliance with Sophos
• Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews.
• Lead daily stand-ups, estimations, and retrospectives; collaborate with UI teams for alignment on
• Define test scenarios and cases to ensure quality deliverables.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production services.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Codex).
• 5+ years in Java, JavaScript, Angular, GoLang, and possibly React.
• 5+ years deploying micro-services in AWS (ECS or EKS).
• Strong design, implementation, testing, and ability to present designs to Tech Council.
• Ability to read code and review PRs; experience with cloud technologies and troubleshooting
