- Lead Neara’s applied research function for infrastructure risk and resilience.
- Direct a team of researchers; set standards for risk modeling, uncertainty quantification, and

- PhD in statistics, applied mathematics, physics, CS, OR, engineering, or related field.
- Proven track record leading a substantial research program as group leader or industry principal.
- Experience building technical teams and setting research direction.
- Extensive experience in probabilistic modeling, uncertainty quantification, model validation
- Substantial experience modeling operational systems (insurance/catastrophe modeling, weather
