R&D Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Design mechanical parts for production transfer in challenging environments
• Master 3D CAD models and drawings (Onshape, SolidWorks) for components and fixtures
• Design for plastics suitable for injection molding and other methods
• Lead prototype validation, stress testing, and field/system validation support
• Collaborate with HW, V&V, FW, and external sub-contractors across regions
• Coordinate part transfer to production with lifecycle methodologies

🎯 Requirements

• BSc Mechanical Engineering
• 3-5 years in R&D mechanical engineering with hands-on experience
• Experience in classic machine design: parts, assemblies, mechanisms
• Manufacturing methods knowledge: machining, injection molding, coatings, materials (aluminium
• Familiarity with NPI processes, DFM, DFX, and production transfer
• High proficiency in 3D CAD (Onshape, SolidWorks)
