Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer - Asset Intelligence

📋 Description

• Lead technical direction for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection across MaintainX products.
• Architect end-to-end ML systems—from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor ML/data developers and promote best practices for model lifecycle management.
• Partner with product and software leaders to align AI roadmap with business goals.
• Design data feedback loops linking telemetry to model retraining.
• Drive performance optimization with quantization, distillation, and scalable inference.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Applied AI.
• Expertise in Python; strong experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow; cloud ML stacks (AWS, Databricks).
• Proven production ML deployment experience at scale.
• LLMs, time-series modeling, and anomaly detection background.
• Ability to lead architectural decisions and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with MLOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Weights & Biases, MLflow, SageMaker).
