Director of US Payroll and Tax Compliance

📋 Description

• Lead US multi-state payroll and tax compliance from the Philippines.
• Supervise a Philippines-based payroll team; build and scale a high-performance function.
• Report to the VP of HR and advise C-suite on payroll and compliance issues.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years US multi-state payroll experience, 3+ years in people leadership
• Experience building/scaling a PH-based payroll team
• Deep US multi-state tax compliance expertise (SUTA/FUTA, FICA, W-2/W-3, state nexus)
• Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, Power Query
• Excellent English communication; able to translate tax topics for US stakeholders
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or related field
