📋 Description

• Build geospatial infrastructure for Samsara's Maps platform.
• Ingest, enrich, and serve map data across products; improve map matching and routing foundations.
• Develop APIs to make spatial capabilities reusable across teams.
• Collaborate across the geospatial stack with ownership and broad scope.
• Mentor others and raise the technical bar through design reviews.
• Represent Samsara externally when appropriate.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years in architect/technical leadership
• Strong programming and design fundamentals
• 4+ years in large-scale distributed systems
• 4+ years leading multi-team technical projects
