Senior Distributed Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Role: Senior Distributed Systems Engineer on the Internet Map Connections team.
• Build highly-available, scalable, data-driven services using large datasets.
• Work on distributed infrastructure for Internet-wide scanning, DNS, and X.509 ingestion.
• Focus on maintainability, monitoring, and developer experience to enable future growth.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years building distributed systems (data ingestion, databases, services).
• Proficiency in Go and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with message queues: Kinesis, Pub/Sub, Kafka, etc.
• Experience with databases like BigTable, Cloud Spanner, HBase, Cassandra, etc.
• Understanding of scalability, fault tolerance, reliability; ability to write clean, testable code.
