Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Greenhouse web apps during a 12-month contract in Argentina.
• Focus on search, ranking, and matching using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Collaborate across Product, Design, Data, and Applied ML teams.
• Build full-stack features with attention to performance and reliability.
• Evaluate trade-offs in relevance, latency, and infrastructure costs.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years writing production code
• Experience with Ruby, C#, Java, or Python; Ruby/Rails preferred
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals; React
• Full-stack experience across backend, APIs, data modeling, frontend
• Deep experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch in production
• Experience building search, ranking, or matching systems
