Sr. Automation & Controls Engineer, Infrastructure & Utility (Starship)

📋 Description

• Design, build, operate, and maintain automation, control and SCADA systems for Starbase ground
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; lead projects; drive rapid improvements at Starbase.
• Manage control/automation upgrades to scale production rate targets for Starship.
• Develop and deploy standardized automation for power and utility systems.
• Maintain documentation for Starbase SCADA systems.
• Design, develop, deploy and manage ground-up automation projects, including commissioning and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years designing and working on automation and control systems (internship/school projects
• Experience with HMI/SCADA (Ignition a plus), PLC programming (IEC-61131), electrical schematics
• Familiarity with IT/OT networks, Modbus, DNP3, IEEE C37.x protocols.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and mentoring abilities; leadership in automation projects.
