📋 Description
- Architect and build backend services powering Haus's data platform
- Ingest from third-party APIs at scale with normalization
- Own lakehouse/warehouse product design and dbt architecture
- Set engineering bar: testing, API design, CI/CD, observability
- Drive decisions across GCP/BigQuery/dbt/Python with data science teams
- Mentor senior engineers and influence data strategy
🎯 Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering with backend and data focus
- Hands-on BigQuery or lakehouse experience
- Deep SQL/dbt experience for evolving schemas
- Expert-level Python for building services
- Staff-level leadership track record
- Strong written/verbal communication with stakeholders
