Sr. Specification Writer

📋 Description

• Prepare accurate and detailed door and hardware specifications, schedules, and related project
• Interpret construction drawings, architectural plans, project requirements, and technical
• Ensure specifications comply with building codes, New Zealand standards, fire regulations, and
• Provide technical guidance to sales teams, architects, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare project quotations and manage pricing per commercial guidelines.
• Maintain accurate project information within CRM and specification systems.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in specification writing, construction, architectural hardware, or
• Strong understanding of door hardware, architectural products, construction processes, or related
• Ability to read, interpret, and extract information from drawings.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, fire regulations, and NZ compliance.
• Experience with specification, CRM, estimation, or project-management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail; ability to work remotely and manage
