Director of CRO and Strategic Partnerships, Oncology Early Development

📋 Description

• Lead strategic and cross-functional partnerships across OED, connecting external innovation, site
• Serve as business/operational lead for CRO relationships and the OED site network, driving process
• Shape partnership framework and drive global, cross-functional projects aligned with AbbVie
• Oversee Oncology Early Development partnership portfolio and value of procured services.
• Governance and cross-functional alignment to deliver business/relationship goals; promote efficient
• Influence stakeholders to implement innovative solutions and improve delivery across the portfolio.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or ex-US equivalent) in a relevant field; Master preferred.
• 12+ years of clinical development experience, with 6+ years working with global third-party vendors.
• Strong leadership with global/team management experience; coach/mentoring skills.
• Excellent cross-functional partnership and communication across Regulatory, Medical Writing, QA
• Subject Matter Expert in standard business/clinical trial procedures (Oversight, contracts, SOPs
• Strategic thinker with ability to drive long-term vendor portfolio strategy and business cases.
