📋 Description

• Set the technical direction for the controls stack across 0→1 platform bring-up and production
• Design and implement controllers from low-level actuator control to trajectory tracking
• Design safe, redundant control systems for safety-critical environments
• Characterize dynamics of customer vehicles to tailor controls solutions
• Build calibration/workflows to scale performance across fleets
• Lead, mentor, and grow the controls team, raise technical bar

🎯 Requirements

• Passion for challenging control problems across varied vehicles
• 6+ years in production software, with leadership experience
• Hands-on experience deploying controls solutions on real vehicles
• Mentor engineers and drive multi-stream roadmaps
• Fluency in differential equations, numerical optimization, physics
• Pragmatic, end-to-end thinking for fast-paced environments
