About Our Clients

Our client is a fast-growing e-commerce brand in the action sports space, generating $100M+ in annual revenue and using UGC as a core component of its paid Meta advertising strategy.

They are looking for a UGC Creator Headhunter who can build and manage a high-quality pipeline of American creators, sell creators on working with the brand, negotiate and structure deals, and own creator relationships from initial outreach through onboarding and ongoing collaboration.

This is not a traditional influencer marketing role. Follower count and audience size are not the priority. The focus is finding people who are exceptionally compelling on camera and can create persuasive UGC for paid advertising.

The ideal candidate is highly personable, commercially minded, energetic, and genuinely great to talk to. You should have excellent natural English and be able to make creators excited about working with the brand.

Responsibilities

• Source and build a strong pipeline of high-quality U.S.-based UGC creators who are compelling and credible on camera.

• Proactively recruit creators and maintain enough pipeline capacity to respond quickly when new creator needs arise.

• Pitch creators on opportunities and make them genuinely excited about working with the brand.

• Negotiate and structure creator partnerships independently, including flat-rate, commission, commission-plus-retainer, and trial arrangements.

• Close creators on product-only or no-upfront-fee opportunities when appropriate.

• Manage creator budgets and determine the right commercial structure on a creator-by-creator basis.

• Own creator relationships from initial outreach through negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing collaboration.

• Partner closely with the Creative Strategist, bringing the right creators to match specific creative angles and scripts.

• Identify creators based on on-camera presence, charisma, credibility, and ability to connect with the brand’s target customer rather than follower count.

• Maintain a diverse creator pipeline, including female creators and U.S.-based Spanish-capable creators.

• Get creative and scrappy with sourcing methods to find exceptional creators beyond conventional influencer databases and platforms.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for creators and build relationships that encourage repeat collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven experience sourcing and recruiting UGC creators for an e-commerce brand, preferably one using UGC extensively for paid advertising.

• Experience working with an e-commerce business generating $100M+ annually is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience managing a creator or influencer budget and independently deciding how to structure individual creator deals.

• Proven ability to negotiate and close creators on partnerships, including product-only or no-fee-upfront arrangements.

• Experience building and negotiating creator deals independently rather than simply executing predefined terms.

• Experience owning creator relationships end to end, including outreach, negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing communication.

• Strong judgment for identifying creators with exceptional on-camera presence and charisma.

• Exceptional spoken and written English. You should sound natural, confident, engaging, and personable in live conversations.

• Highly likable and easy to talk to, with the energy and passion to get creators genuinely excited about an opportunity.

• Strong sales and persuasion skills, with the ability to communicate the value of an opportunity clearly and compellingly.

• Comfortable making live calls and building trust quickly with creators.

• Highly resourceful and willing to use unconventional approaches to find great creators.

• Ability to work with at least 5 hours of overlap with U.S. time zones, with real availability for live creator calls.

• Spanish fluency is a plus.

• Experience recruiting creators in categories such as tools, trucks, outdoors, workwear, hunting, or automotive is a plus, but direct action sports experience is not required.
