Senior QA Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end quality for critical payment journeys, incl deposits, payouts, reconciliation, and
• Design and execute API-first test strategies covering REST, JSON, HTTP, and complex lifecycles.
• Build, maintain, and improve automated API and selective UI test suites using Playwright
• Develop reusable automation components such as API clients, test data builders, and utilities.
• Test integrations with payment processors and Open Banking services, with attention to asynchronous
• Investigate production incidents, reproduce defects, analyze logs, DB records, and API traces

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in QA engineering, test automation, or related software quality role with
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs, including HTTP, JSON, request/response validation, and
• Strong understanding of backend systems, distributed services, and integration patterns.
• Practical experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, RestAssured, or similar
• Ability to diagnose issues using logs, databases, API traces, and debugging tools.
• Understanding of asynchronous systems and transaction patterns (callbacks, queues, polling
