Senior QA Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end quality for critical payment journeys, incl. deposits, payouts, reconciliation, and
• Design and execute API-first test strategies covering REST, JSON, HTTP, and complex lifecycles.
• Build, maintain, and improve automated API and selective UI test suites using Playwright
• Develop reusable automation components such as API clients, test data builders, and supporting
• Test integrations with external providers, including payment processors and Open Banking services
• Investigate production incidents, reproduce defects, analyze logs, database records, and API

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in QA engineering, test automation, or a closely related software quality role
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs, including HTTP, JSON, validation, and API-driven workflows.
• Strong understanding of backend systems, distributed services, and software integration patterns.
• Practical experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, RestAssured, or similar
• Ability to diagnose technical issues using logs, databases, API traces, and other debugging tools.
• Understanding of asynchronous systems and transaction patterns, including callbacks, queues
