📋 Description

• Own the architectural decisions for Canva’s hybrid mobile platform across React Native, iOS and
• Turn the architecture into shipped code with foundations for performance, reliability, and
• Launch a React Native surface in production with stable capabilities for product teams.
• Lead Staff and Senior engineers through the platform migration and scale adoption across Canva.
• Influence architecture beyond the immediate team and set shared platforms and standards.
• Stay hands-on with implementation details and strong engineering judgment.

🎯 Requirements

• Cross-platform architecture experience at scale (React Native, React; Flutter or Kotlin
• Experience migrating mature mobile products onto new architectures without downtime.
• Principal-level technical leadership across multiple teams and large organizations.
• Strong mobile runtime knowledge: shared-code runtimes, native boundaries, performance profiling on
• Deep fundamentals: data structures, complexity, system-level trade-offs.
