Principal Application Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead secure code reviews, threat modeling, and secure design assessments across applications, APIs
• Design and improve security controls across CI/CD, dev workflows, and engineering environments.
• Identify gaps and drive remediation via automation and secure-by-design patterns.
• Define secure coding standards, reference architectures, and playbooks for scale.
• Advise engineering and platform teams on security architecture and practices.
• Advance security for AI-enabled development with guardrails and responsible AI adoption.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in Application Security Engineering with hands-on software security integration into
• Deep expertise in secure app architecture, secure coding, threat modeling, and security assessments.
• Background in software engineering/architecture with ability to operate from design to runtime.
• Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, session management, secrets management, API
• Hands-on experience securing stacks like C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go or similar.
• Experience integrating SAST, SCA, DAST, IaC scanning, container security, and software supply chain
