Senior Manager, Product Design - Product Platform

📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of product designers, incl. senior ICs.
• Define design strategy and quality standards for shared platform experiences.
• Play as a player-coach on high-leverage design challenges; empower designers.
• Establish high visual/interaction design standards across complex, systems-oriented products.
• Apply systems thinking to platform decisions and cross-product dependencies.
• Represent Design in roadmap planning and architectural discussions.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in professional product design, esp. complex/platform/enterprise products.
• 3+ years managing designers, incl. senior ICs; talent development.
• Strong portfolio showing craft, systems thinking, and simplification of complexity.
• Excellent visual/interaction design judgment; experience with design systems.
• Experience shaping design strategy across multiple product areas.
• Cross-functional leadership; ability to influence at strategic level; AI knowledge beneficial.
