Senior Application Programmer Analyst

📋 Description

• Develop, configure, code, test, debug, and enhance complex proprietary and third-party applications
• Translate requirements into technical specifications, designs, and user stories for high-quality
• Troubleshoot complex issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement scalable solutions to improve
• Lead high-complexity development projects and contribute to scope, objectives, and design.
• Provide escalated technical support and resolve issues referred by IT Customer Support.
• Mentor less-experienced programmers/analysts and maintain development standards.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IBM i environment with SQL, Data Queues, Journals, Triggers, DB2, CL
• Strong experience with Stored Procedures, RDi, RDP, ACS, VS Code, or similar tools.
• Advanced SQL skills and ability to handle large, complex databases.
• Experience with analysis tools such as X-Analysis, Hawkeye, Abstract, or similar.
• Knowledge of query optimization techniques and IBM performance tuning tools.
• IBM i Work Management expertise (job queues, subsystems, debugging interactive/batch).
