Coal Technician - Bowen Basin Onsite Laboratories

📋 Description

• Collect, prepare, analyse, store, and report coal samples per procedures and standards
• Ensure accuracy, precision, and traceability of sample prep and testing
• Assist with maintenance of lab and prep equipment
• Plan shift workflows and coordinate sample collection and analysis
• Maintain records and communicate across shifts
• Support a strong safety culture and site housekeeping

🎯 Requirements

• Coal sampling, preparation and testing experience preferred but not essential
• Experience in mineral, coal, or lab environment highly regarded
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
