Senior Backend Engineer (Python/Django)

📋 Description

• Build, maintain, and optimize mission-critical microservices using Python, Django, and Django REST
• Design scalable APIs for high-concurrency traffic and peak usage.
• Contribute to architecture with focus on operations, automation, resilience, and scalable practices.
• Maintain quality through unit testing with Pytest and automated quality checks.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, N+1 queries, and asynchronous processing issues.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and global teams to turn requirements into maintainable solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend development experience, strong Django and DRF expertise.
• Advanced Python proficiency with solid backend architecture knowledge.
• Experience designing microservices and integrating complex third-party systems.
• Strong unit testing experience (Pytest or similar) and quality-first practices.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and optimizing high-load database queries.
• Excellent English for international collaboration; Spanish is a plus.
