System Engineer- Cyber Security Engineering Focus

📋 Description

• Hands-on role securing systems for Defense and Intelligence missions
• Apply RMF processes, ATO packages, and vulnerability remediation
• Collaborate with engineers, admins, and program teams across DoD and NIST requirements
• Maintain security documentation and artifacts (SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, ATO) in XACTA/eMASS
• Implement and validate security controls per NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253
• Support system hardening, patching, and STIG compliance for Linux, Windows, and networks

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in a similar role with related responsibilities
• Experience with RMF, A&A, POA&M, and ATO docs (XACTA/eMASS)
• Hands-on vulnerability scanning and compliance tracking (ACAS, IAVM)
• Security of Linux/Windows systems, STIGs, patching, hardening
• Knowledge of NIST 800-series and incident response
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certs (Security+, CySA+, CISSP)
