Manager, Public Policy and US State Strategy

📋 Description

• Role located in Washington, DC or San Mateo, CA with frequent domestic travel.
• Develop relationships with state policymakers and political figures.
• Identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox in the U.S. States.
• Develop strategies for engaging with state policymakers on Roblox-relevant issues.
• Support the broader public policy team on ongoing projects.
• Advise Roblox teams on public policy inputs for products and business operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Policy, Law, Media, Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field (or
• 3+ years at an Internet/e-commerce/social/gaming company.
• 5+ years working with policymakers on both sides of the aisle.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the State legislative process.
• Experience with state policymakers and child safety groups.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (business ops, finance, legal).
