Virtual Sitter Days - Part time (On-Site)

JobSummary:The Virtual Sitter is responsible for remotely monitoring patients who are at risk for falls, elopement, delirium, self-harm, or interference with medical devices. Using audio/video technology, the Virtual Sitter continuously observes assigned patients and communicates concerns to bedside staff in real time to support patient safety and quality care.

Essential Job Duties:

• Continuously monitor assigned patients through approved audio/video technology.

• Observe and identify behaviors that place patients at risk for injury or adverse events.

• Communicate immediately with nursing staff when intervention is required.

• Document observations according to organizational policy.

• Follow facility-specific workflows, escalation procedures, and safety protocols.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
