KIPP - Special Education Teacher/Education Specialist (Mild/Mod) - High School - San Jose (26-27)

📋 Description

• Lead IEP development, proposal, and implementation per state/federal law
• Collaborate with school Leadership Team and instructional coach
• Deliver specialized instruction and behavior supports (co-teaching, push-in, etc.)
• Use data to monitor progress and inform instruction
• Create daily/long-term lesson plans aligned to IEPs
• Support inclusive, Restorative Practices and SEL in classroom

🎯 Requirements

• B.A./B.S. from regionally accredited institution
• Valid Special Education teaching credential or eligibility for Provisional Internship Permit/Short
• Experience teaching students with similar demographics to KIPP NC
• Commitment to anti-racist education and KIPP mission
• Strong content knowledge and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in Google Suite (Google Classroom, Hangout, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and capable of using
