Immediate Paraprofessional

📋 Description

• Assist teachers with instructional activities and small groups.
• Support literacy and math with one-on-one or group help; monitor progress.
• Help monitor testing environments and assist with data collection (DIBELS, progress monitoring).
• Provide logistical support: copying, organizing assignments, grading basic work.
• Serve as first-level substitute coverage; assist with arrival, dismissal, lunch, and recess.
• Foster a safe, orderly, positive learning environment; collaborate with staff.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with valid paraprofessional certification, or associate’s degree
• OR at least 60 completed college credits (in lieu of certification).
• Uncompromising belief that all students can learn; commitment to equity.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree; experience in urban public or charter school setting; experience with
