Logistics Coordinator, Inbound

📋 Description

• Monitor ocean vessel arrivals, container availability, and rail schedules daily
• Track ocean freight booking releases and confirmations, and milestones in the TMS
• Maintain accurate transit times in the ERP for reliable arrival dates
• Assign container pickups to approved drayage partners
• Coordinate and schedule delivery appointments with warehouse receiving teams
• Serve as primary contact for warehouse inbound flow and dock capacity

🎯 Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in ocean import logistics, drayage coordination, or port operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and transportation management systems
• Strong understanding of port terminal operations, steamship lines, rail ramps, and chassis pools
• Excellent multitasking, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
