Mental Health Specialist II - Acute Behavioral Services

📋 Description

• Provide direct support to individuals with intensive behavioral and mental-health needs
• Support in accordance with behavior and treatment plans, crisis-prevention strategies, and
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and assist with daily living skills and community
• Document services, observations, and program activities using electronic systems (T-logs, Therap
• Monitor behavioral changes and communicate with supervisors during crisis or safety situations
• Collaborate with family, case managers, and team members; participate in training and new staff

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years minimum of experience with individuals with chronic/severe mental illness OR a degree in a
• Must be at least 18 years old; valid driver’s license with proof of auto insurance
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic documentation systems
