Tech Lead/Principal Engineer, Public Sector

📋 Description

• Lead data-plane patterns for federal programs using reference schemas, replication, and recovery
• Operate shared data infrastructure and provide on-call escalation across engagements.
• Collaborate with Platform and Data Engineering on infrastructure and analytics seams.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years production database engineering at scale (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Strong query plan literacy; able to read EXPLAIN ANALYZE without profiler.
• Zero-downtime migrations on live traffic; OLAP/analytics store experience
• AWS experience, especially RDS/Aurora (PostgreSQL flavor).
• FedRAMP boundary experience; central DBRE/DBA pattern experience.
• Customer-facing, data residency/encryption decisions with a U.S. Government clearance view.
