Vice President of Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead Katalyst’s engineering organization across spacecraft, payload, software, and mission-delivery
• Set a scalable operating model with clear ownership, interfaces, and risk management to move
• Drive alignment with Program, Product, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance
• Establish an engineering rhythm with visibility into maturity, risks, staffing, and program
• Build leadership depth, hire and develop managers and senior technical leaders, and manage
• Partner to balance competing priorities across multiple programs, customers, and schedules.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Systems Engineering, or related
• 10+ years of experience developing complex aerospace/spacecraft, defense, robotics, or
• Proven ability to scale engineering leadership and build a high-performing organization.
• Strong ability to translate technical posture and tradeoffs to program leaders and customers.
• Experience balancing multiple programs, priorities, and resources; track record of delivering

🎁 Benefits

• Salary range: $214,000 - $284,000 annually.
