Job Description
📋 Description
- Build and tailor modular autonomy capabilities for defense missions on embedded Linux and compute
- Integrate autonomy software with vehicle hardware, autopilots, datalinks, sensors, and ground
- Perform SIL/HIL bring-up, testing, and live flight testing across Group 1–5 UAVs.
- Diagnose and resolve software and integration issues to maintain performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with DoD experts and third-party UAS vendors to deploy autonomy software on OEM
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Robotics, CS, or related field; 3+ years hands-on robotics experience.
- Proficiency in modern C++, Docker, Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL); GitLab, VS Code.
- Hands-on with Pixhawk autopilots (ArduPilot/PX4); familiarity with UART/RS232/RS422/RS485
- Experience with SIL/HIL, real-time, edge, safety-critical computing; strong communication and
- Willingness to travel on-site (10–20%); US citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.
