📋 Description

• Lead proactive opportunity sourcing for AbbVie Ventures across life sciences networks globally.
• Participate in meetings to identify and evaluate investment opportunities aligned with AbbVie
• Contribute to deal flow management for internal reporting and knowledge sharing.
• Drive deal evaluation with cross-functional teams and develop recommendations for senior management.
• Assist in deal structure, risk mitigation, and negotiation strategies to align with AbbVie
• Support diligence, cross-functional reviews, and closing processes for investments.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, MD/PhD) with 6+ years postgrad experience.
• 3+ years investment experience in early-stage life science (pre-Seed to Series B).
• Strong understanding of drug discovery, development, regulatory, and commercialization processes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proactive networking skills with an established biopharma network; ability to work independently
