Head of Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and scale the engineering organisation with a focus on people leadership, structure
• Own engineering delivery at an organisational level: capacity planning, prioritisation, roadmap
• Directly manage engineering leaders (Tech Leads, QA Leads) and evolve leadership structures.
• Partner with senior tech, product, and business leaders to translate priorities into clear
• Establish standards for architecture, quality, reliability, security, and practices to enable
• Maintain accountability for service reliability with ownership, monitoring, and continuous

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering with production web systems experience.
• 4+ years in engineering leadership (Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Tech Lead) with
• Proven ownership of people leadership, delivery, capacity planning, and organisational development.
• Experience growing senior engineers and leaders; interacts with founders/executive leadership
• Delivery leadership experience in SaaS/product-focused or fast-paced environments.
• Engineering financial planning, headcount planning, and resource allocation experience.
