- Monitor police, fire, and paramedics for breaking news
- Monitor social media and other sources for breaking news
- Provide quick tips to the newsroom
- Original reporting for all the Star’s platforms
- Program staffed 24/7 with varied shifts
🎯 Requirements
- Passionate about breaking news
- Calm, well-organized, multitasker
- Persuade officials to share information
- Speak with crime/accident victims
- Well-versed in CP style
🎁 Benefits
- Pay: $21.12 hourly
- Temp contract, three terms per year
