Mechanical Engineer - Tooling/Controls, Satellites (Starlink)

📋 Description

• Stand up high-rate tooling for Starlink fiber harness production
• Design tooling, fixtures, and automation to terminate, assemble, and test flight hardware
• Own electromechanical stack: structure, motion, sensors, actuators, controls
• Lead projects from concept through production introduction
• Collaborate with flight harness, quality, and production teams to parallelize development
• Address precision alignment, repeatability, cycle time, and first-pass yield

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, manufacturing or related STEM
• 1+ years designing mechanical systems with 3D CAD and 2D drawings
• 1+ years implementing controls on mechanical systems (motion, sensors, actuators, PLC)
