Project Director, Peptide API (Hybrid)

📋 Description

• Lead peptide manufacturing capital projects in the US to deliver products to patients.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Operations, QA, Procurement, ME&C, and R&D.
• Adopt best-in-class technology; leverage AI and digitalization to improve project delivery.
• Manage project lifecycle from business case to execution, ensuring on-time delivery and budget
• Ensure compliance with AbbVie EHS standards and safety across sites.
• Report performance and risks to steering committees and maintain governance.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Engineering or equivalent; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years in senior engineering/projects/operations leadership across multiple techs.
• Experience with biologics, small molecule API/OSD, medical devices, and packaging manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Financial acumen with P&L responsibility; ability to develop ROI/NPV analyses.
• Willingness to travel domestically for project sites and reviews.
