Senior QA Engineer – API Testing

📋 Description

• Define QA strategy for backend services, APIs, integrations, and critical product workflows.
• Understand product domain and translate requirements into test scenarios.
• Design, maintain, and execute test plans for functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and
• Perform backend and API testing using Postman and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Validate REST APIs, data consistency, error handling, authentication flows, and integrations.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure release readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer for software products, backend services, REST APIs, or
• Strong API testing experience using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar tools.
• Experience creating, maintaining, or improving automated test suites.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, regression, exploratory
• Experience with relational databases and SQL to validate data integrity.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, ideally AWS, with DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Secrets Manager.
